What's in the pool?

• Chlorine-to discourage growth of algae and spread of harmful bacteria. The compound we use is sodium hypochlorite.
• Propylene Glycol- a common food additive that decreases evaporation of water as it forms a microlayer on the surface of the water. Evaporation is a major way the pool loses heat.
