Board of Directors
The
Board generally meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. During pool season, these meetings are usually
held at the pool. Off season, meetings are held at Kathy Augustine's house (9517
St. Charles, Pl. Fairfax, VA). Members are invited to all meetings; however, they need to alert a Board member
in advance if they have an agenda item. Members who have issues they wish the Board to address, are asked to keep in mind
that it may take days (or weeks) to conclude a discussion of an issue.
The Annual Membership Meeting is held once a year at a
designated place and date (generally mid-April). Members are notified of this meeting in the pool bill mailing which is generally
sent in March. All members are invited to attend this meeting to discuss issues that affect the future direction of the pool,
and to elect members to fill open positions on the Board.
The Board is always looking for pool members who are
interested in joining the Board. If you are interested, please let a Board member know well in advance of the Annual Meeting.
